Asher and Rory are a couple of queer, neurodivergent, former teen parents—all grown up and building a life rooted in love, laughter, and a little bit of chaos.
They met online in the summer of 2023 and, despite the miles and their differences, fell head over heels. Soon after, they moved in together and began raising their three quirky, neurodivergent kids (plus a menagerie of pets) in a snug 700 sq.ft. condo in downtown Long Beach, California.
Since then, their pack has grown—six dogs, five chickens, two ducks, and one very patient cat—and so has their space. The family now lives in a cozy log cabin-style fixer-upper in a small mountain town two hours from Los Angeles. It’s a forever project, thanks in part to Asher’s ADHD habit of starting ten renovations at once.
